Levante UD Women and Vitaldin Sport on March 8th: Together, We Transform Football

Levante UD and Vitaldin Sport have joined forces to showcase the resilience, dedication, and talent that women bring to the world of football. Two of our first-team footballers, Leire Baños and Paula Fernández, along with two players from our Granota Academy, Irene García and Claudia Esteve, have participated in a video where we also commemorate March 8th, International Women's Day – a significant day in the history of our club, particularly through our successful women's section, and for our Platinum Sponsor Vitaldin Sport.

In the world of sports, success thrives on companionship and collaboration, whether for those taking their first steps or those who have turned sports into their profession. In each day, training session, match, and goal, having a teammate pushing forward is the true fuel for triumph. Moreover, for those playing as a team, success can be precisely that: being part of a group and striving for common goals. And when achieved, the feeling is indescribable.

On this March 8th, in a special collaboration between Levante UD and Vitaldin Sport, we pose a fundamental question: How do role models, vision, and values influence the success of those starting out and the 'veterans' of women's football? How has the role of women in football evolved in a generation?

The aim of this initiative is to emphasize recognizing and celebrating emerging talent in women's football. And who better to tell us what it means to be an athlete than the players themselves? Two talented youth footballers share their thoughts on football, their goals, and dreams, while their role models discover the preferences and passions of the future stars, seeing themselves reflected in them at their own beginnings.
